RAA appoints Bill Whyte as VP Aviation Operations:

5 June 2019: The Regional Airline Association has appointed Bill Whyte as Vice President of Aviation Operations and Technical Services.

At RAA, Whyte will offer his expertise on aviation operations, aviation safety standards and safe operating practices. He will look after industry operations and technical task forces and working groups, including agency rulemaking and regulatory negotiating committees, and act as a liaison between RAA and the FAA's Air Traffic Organisation, NextGen programme and related organisations.

Previously, Whyte was the General Manager of Flight Operations Training at Compass Airlines and was responsible for development and implementation of all pilot training programmes for the Embraer 175 fleet.
