Saab Digital Air Traffic Solutions receives NATO air base order:
29 June 2019: Saab Digital Air Traffic Solutions will be installing a digital tower at NATO NAEW&CF E3A Component in Geilenkirchen, Germany. The digital air traffic control tower will be used by NATO Air Base Geilenkirchen for live operations during the refurbishment of the current control tower.
This is the very first order for an operational digital air traffic control tower at a military airbase. The delivery is slated for 2020.
