29 June 2019: Gulfstream Aerospace' all-new Gulfstream G600 has received both its type and production certificates from the US Federal Aviation Administration (FAA). The company can start with the deliveries of the aircraft as it has received the certifications.
The G600 can fly 6,500 nautical miles/12,038 kilometres at its long-range cruise speed of Mach 0.85. At its high-speed the aircraft can go up to Mach 0.90, the G600 travels 5,500 nm/10,186 km. The aircraft has already received 11 city-pair speed records, all at Mach 0.90. The aircraft's maximum operating speed is Mach 0.925.
The G600 has an award-winning Symmetry Flight Deck which has active control sidesticks and 10 touch screens, both industry firsts.
