17 June, 2019: NYCO Turbonycoil 600, a synthetic standard turbine oil, is now approved for use on Pratt & Whitney Canada PW150 engine powering De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited Dash 8-Q400. This new qualification was carried out, in collaboration with Pratt & Whitney Canada, De Havilland, and Luxembourg airline Luxair.
Also, following Collins Aerospace's streamlining project in Toronto, the Nyco Grease GN 148, a multi-purpose grease, is now qualified on the Collins Aerospace landing gear that equips the Dash 8-Q400.
These two qualifications allow NYCO to extend its range of qualified products to airlines with a regional fleet, but also to provide a better support to Pratt & Whitney Canada for its full range of turboprops and turboshaft engines.
