26 June 2019: AerSale has acquired aircraft parts distributor Qwest Air Parts, Inc. Qwest is based in Memphis, Tennessee. The company deals with aircraft dismantlement and the refurbishment and resale of USM. They have disassembled more than 200 aircraft, gives 24/7 AOG service, and operate a teardown facility in Crestview, Florida.
Qwest's founder, President and CEO, Gary Jones will continue to lead Qwest and operate as a stand-alone independent subsidiary of AerSale.
