Peach Aviation, CFM International sign agreement to purchase 20 LEAP-1A engines:
19 June 2019: CFM International and Peach Aviation have signed an agreement to purchase 20 LEAP-1A engines to power the airline's new fleet of Airbus A320neo family aircraft. The agreement is worth $294 million US at list price. The aircraft were ordered in 2016.
Since Peach launched commercial service with CFM56-5B-powered Airbus A320ceo aircraft in 2012, they have been a customer of CFM. Currently, the airline has a fleet of 26 CFM-powered aircraft.
